Red Carpet Fashion at the Grammy’s

The 54^th Annual Grammy Awards is the biggest event of the year for music stars to get honoured for their hard work and amazing talent of the year behind us. Say what you want, but the main attraction to this event is not how many awards they hand out, it is who they are wearing on the red carpet. Just like every year they had fashion that stood out for being a hit and a miss and here are LUXO’s choices for these various categories.

The popular trend and colour on this year’s red carpet was definitely sequence, glitter and the LBD’s. Gold was not only seen on the actual grammy award, but many celebrities had this colour as a touch of detail to their gowns.

It took me a while to figure out who was Best Dressed at the Grammy’s, and I decided on something classic yet different. The judging did not just include the dress but the way she put the complete look together. Corinne Bailey Rae wore a black Christian Siriano dress and I love the wild hair with the dress.

Cindy Lauper went for something different in this Jean Paul Gaultier Couture dress as well as Nadeea and I think most of you can agree with me these were definite fashion crimes at the awards. In the fashion world something like this will never be seen as “fashion” – sorry girls – there’s always next year.
